This was such an amazing challenge! I LOVED the stories people wrote, and the pictures of people in bookcases! 😆 And some people actually sad outside at night in the cold, or alone in an empty hotel lobby. Or in the shower. You guys are AMAZING. I am SO proud. I am so happy people were so engaged and we had so much fun looking at all of your entries!!1!

On one hand I am a bit disappointed I couldn’t pick a winner, on the other I just would not have been able to pick. If I had the funds I’d let you all win. You guys are crazy. I love you. <3 If you'll allow me I'd like to post a post(errrr...)/gallery with your awesome contributions! Gah! Guys, you make me gush! Psh! >///////<

Experience reading somewhere you never read before. Whether it’s the bathtub or a café, challenge yourself! (But within limits, you should be able to read and not hurt yourself ;p) Make it an adventure!

The other day I ran into this cutie by taking a different route, now how could I have missed this for so long?!
little free library The Hague

Show me your spot using the hashtag #uncomfyreadathon on instagram, twitter and/or tumblr and leave a link in the comment directly to your entry! No camera? Write a short ‘story’ describing your experience!

Bonus points(+1): Show me your favourite reading prop! A pencil for notes, a blankey, a bookmark, a beat up old mug, your favorite tea, cat. All is good! #catladiesofreadathon!

Due to the nature of this challenge and different timezones this challenge will run until the 20th hour, so make it good! 😀

The winner will be randomly chosen from the comments after links are checked, multiple comments won’t lead to multiple entries. The winner will be announced at hour 23, and can pick their prize from this list on 24hourreadathon.com! Make sure you’re signed up for the read-a-thon, otherwise you can’t claim your prize!

Ok, that was the infobit; good luck, and go crazy!!

Hour 0/1 Intro meme!

  1. What fine part of the world are you reading from today?

I am currently on the move to The Hague in The Netherlands to join my friends for a Read-a-thon themed birthday party! \o/

  2. Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?

Oh the options! Hm…I think The long Walk by Stephen King, because I won that last Read-a-thon, there was a mix-up and then Andi bought me a replacement! <3 And it arrived the day before yesterday! :D

  3. Which snack are you most looking forward to?

    Ingrid‘s coffee!

  4. Tell us a little something about yourself!

I have way too many interests to give enough attention to them all! Lately I’ve been going back to gardening, gaming and video mostly though, slowly getting back to blogging!

  5. If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today?

Planning! I am a co-host, challenge host, cheer captain AND I’m with friends so want to social and possibly /read/ . So I need some planning. And uberman-sleep rhyrhm! 20 minute nap every 4 gours!
Though obviously I already screwed up because it is now 5 hours after starting time, I’m still travelling and I’ve been up for an hour. And it’s dinner time. 🙄
